[Ear Party Pt.1]

kept me listening

the mastering is actually pretty well done, so you definitely didnt over use. the panning in the intro was awesome and the song wouldnt be the same without it. the only thing i didnt like that much was how the song lacked melody more and more as the song goes. the beats remain great throughout the whole thing though so ride on.

Wow, that was seriously the best review i have ever gotten. I got about 10 people to listen to it 1-5 times through the mastering, and you just outdid them all.

You hit the problem right on the nose, i kept thinking "its the frequencies, if i eq everything a bit more between the 2 main instruments, it will be fine" but no, you are right, wow.

the samples are really really overused, but it doesnt sound bad. it kinda sounds offsync to me but i might be crazy. that beat sequence just really bugs me cuz ive heard it n 4 different songs today. i think the guitar strings that come in at 22 seconds need reverb, and the bass guitar sounding one that solos at 47 second could use some bass boosting. other then that its just isnt very powerful sounding.

these are the most powerful effects you can use
and the guitar functions reverb sounds really crappy so i took it out x.x

needs some mastering work for sure.

yea and my suggestion would be to spread stuff out into more patterns, for instance i use like 45 minimum each time cuz then you have a wider variety of structure building possibilities, and you can make cooler, more advanced drops and ya. i think something was too grungy in the bass here. but its kinda cool too, i like it.

Wow, 45 patterns? That would be very useful, but I have no idea what I'd put on them all. I'm still currently learning to make my different patterns fit in with each other tune-wise, but I don't think I'll get that far for... a while. I usually make my songs up as I go along and this one was definitely too repetitive. I don't know how "experts" make their music, whether they make all their patterns and then arrange them or make the track up as they go along, but I'm just following my own style, and I'll try new methods as I'm ready for them. Thanks for the review.

i think it would be cool if the beginning synth flowed a bit more and then if there was some sorta eerie little sounds and clicks ya know.

I really enjoyed this. The synth is just a little over powering for drum n bass thats all, but to be honest i like dnb with a little extra synth and melody, and theres no genre that decribes it better for options here on ng, so great job. 5/5

great sound

this song is way better then people have been votingg, i think thers just been some jerks going around voting 0 on everything. my newest song was ranked like 1.2 outta 5 for a while. anyways this sounded pretty cool, it has great flow, although it doesnt change too much so i think it should be a little shorter and the beats should be brought out a bit more i think, otherwise yay good song.

fantastic

i never thought those two genres could go together but you did a great job. the song is well composed and pretty fantastic sounding. the only problem i have with it is how dry the piano is. put some reverb on that and it will rock my world. favorited. 10/10. 5/5.

Ah that piano..I tried to recreate the [so beautiful :_) ] Korg-M1 Piano sound without using the original and overused samples.
The result is imo pretty close
but..yes maybe some more reverb would have been super! The fact is that in most of the Hardcore releases the piano is very dry :o

It has a really great sound and melody, but its mega repetitive and doesnt really have any variance in sounds. that song name sucks total butt. could use some better transitions here and there. ndeds to be shortened to about 2-2.5 minutes seriously. otherwise great song!

lol, yea i noticed that its way repetitive, and maybe the title is Shit to you, but a friend inspired me to name it that lol. so oh well on that one. anyways, this song took far too long to render so i doubt ill be doing any editing on it. my original idea name for this song was going to be Spoonography 2, sequeling my first version, but it had no sound familiarities. so, i leave you all with Food = Yes ;) thanks for the review partna.

first off its not really a song even. secondly dont EVER use garage band. try fl studio or reason or logic pro if you have the money.

Lol, I know that Garage Band isn't that great. Like I said, it was in highschool... I didn't mention though that it was for a project so I wasn't really giving a half-assed effort on it. But... whatever. I got a good grade on it. If I could've used something better, I would've! :) Thanks.

Also, what about CakeWalk Music Creator 3... do you think that's any good? I have that on this computer...
